wikipedia - 21 Jun 2022Dmitry Andreyevich Muratov (Russian: Дмитрий Андреевич Муратов, born 30 October 1961) is a Russian journalist, television presenter and the editor-in-chief of the Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta.[1] He was awarded the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Maria Ressa for “their efforts to safeguard freedom of expression, which is a precondition for democracy and lasting peace."[2]
