He made his debut as the main lead in the film Life Is Beautiful, directed by Sekhar Kammula in 2012.[2] He made his web series debut with Pelli Gola (2017–19). In 2020, Abijeet appeared on the Telugu version of the Bigg Boss 4 reality show that is broadcast on Star Maa, where he emerged as the title winner.[3]
