Christiaan Johan Stander (born 5 April 1990) is a South Africa-born rugby union player, who represents Ireland after qualifying through residency. He can play either as a flanker or number 8. He played for Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup between 2010 and 2012 and for the Bulls in Super Rugby in 2012. He moved to Irish province Munster in 2012 and made his debut for Ireland in 2016. In 2017, Stander was also selected for the British and Irish Lions.
