On 29 August 2006, The FIA published a provisional calendar for the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship. The San Marino and European Grands Prix were excluded, although the European round would later make a comeback (see below).[26] The final calendar (above), which confirmed that the San Marino Grand Prix would not return, was released on 18 October 2006.[27]
